UNC Charlotte students, faculty and staff gathered on October 28 at lunchtime in the Student Union Rotunda for a Flash of the Classics mini-concert by five brass musicians from the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Student Activities and the Student Union presented the concert, which was funded by an anonymous donor. The musicians set up in the rotunda and attracted a large crowd stopping by to enjoy the music, take photographs and relax.
The concert is part of an effort by the organizers to offer interaction with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, including a series of free tickets for performances.
