As College Dean Nancy Gutierrez says, liberal learning is a collaborative effort, between students and faculty, as both work towards the development of the student as a fully engaged human being who is exhilarated by the lifelong journey of a self-examined life, and embraces the privileges and responsibilities of citizenship and the challenges of social justice. This Fall-Winter 2015 issue of the College’s Exchange magazine explores the theme of human connecting, through examination of the ways in which College students, faculty, alumni and friends are making a difference in the world.
Exchange Online is a magazine curated by the Office of Communications in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. We invite faculty, staff, students and friends of the college to submit news, events or story ideas for consideration through the "We Want Your News" button above.
If you have questions about the magazine, please email the college Communications Director Lynn Roberson at lynnroberson@uncc.edu. Thanks for joining the conversation.
