The Office of Identity, Equity, and Engagement will host a Martin Luther King Jr. March and Speak Out from Noon to 2:00 pm Tuesday, Jan. 15, which will serve as an opportunity to reflect on the contributions of Dr. King, make connections to our lives today, dream about the future, and, most importantly, to create change. Everyone is invited to participate during our March and Speak Out.

We will march through the main UNC Charlotte campus, beginning at noon at Cato Hall, and conclude with the Speak Out at the Student Union. For the march, we encourage organizations and departments to join us with their paraphernalia, banners, or posters with powerful quotes.

At the Student Union, refreshments will be provided. The Speak Out will serve as an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to share their thoughts on the day's theme, "ThinKING of a Better Tomorrow" and to have their voices heard through any form of expression related to the theme.
