UNC Charlotte provides five free parking spaces adjacent to the McMillan Greenhouse for gardens, greenhouse visitors. These spaces are in Lot 16A. You may park in one of these spaces Monday – Friday if you sign the sign in sheet inside McMillan Greenhouse, and note your license plate number.
If the visitor spaces are full on weekdays, additional visitor parking is located East Deck 1 and the Union Deck. Find these decks on the campus parking map. Both decks are a six-minute walk from the McMillan Greenhouse with parking fees of $5 for the first hour and $2 each additional hour.
Due to CMS makeup days because of inclement weather, this camp has been rescheduled to a half-day camp from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and moved from February 18 to Wednesday, March 13. This camp will include birding in the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens, led by our resident bird expert! Kids will enjoy bird-related activities, crafts, and learning basic of bird identification.
