Community Invited to Spring Plant Sale at UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens

Shop from an exceptional array of plants at the largest sale of the year at the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens’ McMillan Greenhouse on Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days. Visitors will find a wide selection of native plants and deciduous azaleas along with special selections of wildflowers, perennials, trees and shrubs, carnivorous plants, colorful annuals, and tropicals for the landscape.

Knowledgeable staff are available to answer questions about gardening, plants, sustainable practices, classes and other topics. All proceeds support the operations of the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens and the McMillan Greenhouse.

Admission to the McMillan Greenhouse and outdoor gardens is free, as always. A preview sale is set for Thursday, April 13, from noon – 3:00 p.m. for the Campus Community and Garden Stewards. Stewards of the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens receive numerous benefits such as special plants, discounted educational programs, and early access to annual plant sales.
