UNC Charlotte College of Liberal Arts & Sciences students have the chance to see their artwork featured on the College holiday card this year. The College seeks original photographs, paintings, drawings or other visual artwork that reflects concepts or scenes relevant to the college.

Ricky Matthews snow sceneLast year’s holiday card featured a photograph of a snow scene on campus, taken by meteorology student Ricky Matthews. The holiday card is an annual tradition that brings greetings to friends of the College. In past years, the card has featured scenes from the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens, snow scenes from on campus, drawings depicting the College’s disciplines, and drawings that focused on the themes of liberal arts and the sciences.

The contest is open to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students whose major – or minor – is in the College. A list of the undergraduate majors and minors and a list of the graduate programs are on the CLAS website. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015. The rules, entry form and other information can be found on the College’s website.
